An 11 day trip through the heart of the Temagami wilderness. This is the classic Obabika loop, launching from and arriving back at the Central Lake Access Point on the eastern shores of Lake Temagami. The trip will involve approximately 70km of paddling, and 4km of portaging and is designed for intermediate canoeists. We will visit ancient pictographs, petroglyphs, and the Chee-skon Spirit Rock, which has spiritual significance for the local Anishnabai First Nations and is surrounded by the largest old-growth white and red pine forest in the world. There is room for 16 participants on this trip. This trip is fully outfitted and includes transportation, leaving from and arriving back at DVMS.
