A 9 day trip through the heart of the Temagami Wilderness. This is the classic Obabika loop, launching from and arriving back at Ferguson Bay/Sandy Inlet Access Point on the north-eastern shores of Lake Temagami. The trip will involve approximately 60km of paddling, and 2km of portaging. We will visit ancient pictographs, petroglyphs, and the Chee-skon Spirit Rock, which has spiritual significance for the local Anishnabai First Nations and is surrounded by the largest old-growth white and red pine forest in the world. There is room for 16 participants.
