Great Lakes Georgian Bay

A 5 day circle tour route that will include visits to Franklin, the Minks and the McCoys Islands in Georgian Bay, part of the largest fresh water archipelago in the world. There are 12 spots available on the Georgian Bay kayaking expedition.

When:
August 26th-30th, 2019

Route:
Putting in and taking out at Snug Harbour, visiting the western side of Franklin Island, and zig zagging through the Minks and the McCoys before returning to the southern tip of Franklin Island and onto the take out at Snug Harbour.

Cost:
Total cost will be $675 (plus tax) per person (includes packs, tents, cost of campsites, food, ocean kayak rental, paddles, life jackets and round trip transportation from Dundas to Snug Harbour, ON)

 

Broken Group Islands Pacific Rim National Park

A 5 day (4 night) trip through the Broken Group Islands, an archipelago within Barkley Sound and Pacific Rim National Park, on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We will take a ferry, the MV Frances Barkley, that will deliver us to and from the Broken Islands. The ferry will leave from Port Alberni and arrive back there at the end of the 5 day trip. The trip will involve approximately 40km of protected ocean paddling in and around the majestic Broken Group Islands, where there are opportunities to see a variety of wildlife in the air, on the land and in the ocean. There is room for 12 participants on the Broken Group Islands expeditions.

July 1st-5th, 2019

Route:

A circle route visiting many islands in this protected archipelago. The outer group of islands serve as natural barriers to the open ocean.

Cost:
Total cost will be $675 per person (plus tax) includes cost of campsites, food, ocean kayak rental, paddles, life jackets and return ferry trip on the MV Frances Barkley

 

Clayoquot Sound

A 5 day tour of Clayoquot Sound’s Meares, Vargas and Flores Islands with a visit to Hot Springs Cove. The trip will involve approximately 40km of protected ocean paddling, and 10km of hiking, in, around and through the coastal rainforested islands of Clayoquot Sound. There is room for 12 partipants on the Clayoquot Sound expedition.

When:

July 8th-12th, 2019

Route:
A conservative out and back route visiting the eastern inland side of islands and beaches through a myriad of channels and passages in this majestic coastal rainforest, with a visit to Hot Springs Cove.

Cost:
Total cost will be $675 per person (plus tax) includes cost of campsites, food, ocean kayak rental, paddles, and life jackets
